The Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation is engaging and mobilizing volunteers from across the country to support the Foundation’s mission to eradicate breast cancer through our innovative research and education programs, such as the Army of Women and the Health of Women Study. We are working with an army of volunteers across the country to host local fundraising events, attend health fairs, and work with local media to raise awareness about the Foundation.
With the guidance of our fantastic Community Engagement team, our volunteers are taking on grass roots efforts to encourage their local communities to get involved with preventive breast cancer research. A talented and passionate group of women (and a few good men), our volunteers continue to successfully recruit thousands of new members for the Army of Women and Health of Women Study by attending more than 140 local events each year. They host information tables at health fairs, medical meetings, women’s organizations and schools…
Isn’t it time you and your friends got involved? If you are interested in volunteering at one of our outreach events, please email volunteer@dslrf.org and we will send you additional information. If you would like to be added to our email list to hear about future outreach events and haven’t filled out our volunteer application, please click here to fill out the form.

We need help/funds in developing our new kickstart program called, “ASK YOUR MAMA.” This program, developed by Pam Ward, health advocate & Black Women for Wellness partner, is a call to women to ask their mothers/family members about their health history. Knowing your family health background can have a imperative impact on breast cancer awareness. We want women to have these candid talks today! Please help us in any way.
